4 of the last 6 majors were won by people using anchored putters
so tiger would have won at least 3 of those if it werent for the cheaters....

Agree with the ban. Anchoring allows a player who otherwise would be losing strokes to gain an advantage by taking their hands out of the stroke. Golf is played by "swinging" the club not anchoring the club. This is not an equipment rule... It's the way the club is held and it will affect some players big time.

I agree with the ban for the reason some have stated...this is about the way a stroke is placed on the ball. :inb4twss:
As for the drivers and balls, I think that's coming in one way or another. I think the USGA is using Merion next month as a referendum on those issues. If they set up that course firm and fast and avoid rain, and the players still go low on the 6996 yard track, I think we'll see the USGA use that as evidence that the equipment is hurting the game. If the winner is around even, the USGA will just say things are fine.
