I know where you are at also. We got our house for sale now and are looking to upgrade. How is that neighborhood? Avg Sq ft?

I put my generator in my shed in the back yard and hardwired it to the well. Then ran extension cords to the house. Not at the same time, but was able to run fridge, window unit, and charge phones.

Was able to shut the doors on my shed to make the generator quiet.

Nice little neighborhood, all spec homes though. I know some ppl are against that, but at 23yrs old when I bought last year, I didn't care. Can't find anywhere in Mandeville at 155-170K brand new. Sq ft ranges from 1400-1800. There are about 12 different floor plans
