I caught tons with this guy

This works great for that area.
Years ago working at a restaurant in Navarre, the go to setups were the "Bubble rig" and Gotcha plugs. You could go out to the pier and throw those and have a blast catching hardtail and Spanish macks.
If you fish from the beach, anything shiny will draw the attention of the Spanish- just be sure to have a wire leader or you're day will be long and frustrating.
