Are we getting back on the shabus ? Forgetting about his last season so soon?

Bennett is physical and intimidating I think he can at least have as good of defense as melo this season. I think he's got better ball handling than porter and we can at times play davis at 5. There are good times to do that. I also think he is BPA. Dude can score at will which is something we need. Of course he'd make us better. He was injured some this season and overweight a bit. He emerged as a star with not much conditioning it seems. I see his foot speed improving. We could also play some zoneish defense with ad helping if an opposing sf gets inside. there are some concerns but i see too many positives, I can overlook them.

Eta: he was quicker than college 4s and is very versatile. He played 4 in college because he had their size and a speed advantage. Just because he's a strong physicsl guy doesn't mean he can't play sf. His defense wasn't terrible in college and it probably could have been good if he was more interested in it. He's so talented he didn't need to play d hard tocbe a top prospect.

Melo is a poor defender without a position in the NBA. I don't see your point. And if you dare compare any other part of their game, I'm going to throw a handful of feces at you.

And college 4s are much smaller than NBA 4s. College 4s are less athletic than NBA 4s. Plus, we have 4s. If he is a 4 at the next level, you absolutely do not draft him.

No, but he's not Lebron. He doesn't have the lateral quickness to guard NBA 3s. Basically, I think his ceiling is a Carl Landry/Brandon Bass type. Solid role player, but inherently limited.
