YuuuuuuUUUP. Looks great. I like James Spader.
I don't know, man. I wonder if NBC is starting to see the trend in TV finally. Hannibal has been spectacular so far. High production value, great acting, great story that is dark and demented. It is based off a formula that works historically, but it is given a fresh coat of paint.
Blacklist looks similar in that you have a guy who is outside the law helping those who are inside the law. I wonder if the success of White Collar helped to spur NBC in this direction, though, obviously, White Collar is far more campy and fun than twisted.
Hopefully NBC sees some returns on these shows because I like having all this great television to choose from, and I don't even need HBO to get it anymore. AMC, FX, even to an extent USA, are all leading the charge for quality original programming and I'm sure NBC has felt the effects somewhat and now has to step up to the plate and play ball; take some risks, try something other than Fat People Losing Weight.

I had never seen it. It's supposedly slotted to show after The Voice this fall.

Looks cool but the trailer makes it look like a movie.

Does look interesting but the main actress looks way in over her head though

i also love how they showed at least 6 episodes of cliffhangers in one trailer, so i dont have to bother questioning if anyone dies.

It looks like the kind of show that would thrive and reach more of its potential on premium cable (HBO, Showtime).
Looks interesting. The challenge and probably the show's ultimate downfall will be keep the right balance of likeability/evilness in the bad-but-likeable protagonist. Drag it on too long, and you get something like the last few seasons of Dexter.

I agree this show has huge potential. As soon as I saw Spader playing this type of role in the trailer, I was thinking he is the perfect tv version of Hannibal lecter.

NBC has done a couple things right lately
I bought into Hannibal from minute one and so far I've enjoyed the Sunday night show Crossing Lines. Camp seems to have been liked by some so maybe they are getting it together, finally

That wasn't a trailer, that was a premiere.
That said, it looks very good.
Spader = bawss

As much as I dislike NBC, I will probably watch. They basically took a page from "The Rock" and expanded it into a series; good idea really.
