Are we still on this thread? O'Neal's prime was literally two or three seasons. It sucks, but his style of play was too much for his body to handle. And the Palace Brawl set the Pacers back like Plaxico's gunshot incident.

O'Neal was hardly overpaid. He was the franchise player after Miller. Indiana unloaded him with about $44 mil left on the contract. Injuries set him back.

If lebron tore his ACL today, he'd still be in his prime when he comes back.

ONeal was hurt and but was still a 20-10 player when he played. How can you not call that his prime?
