I think the well cost of this "Lineham Creek" prospect is at least 200 million dollars, based on an article from a while back. But I don't know if that includes the completion (doubt it). The tubing string and wellhead alone will cost millions of dollars, not to mention any kind of facilities to process this gas.

The reason they are still drilling is due to deepening the well another 1500'. The Trip time is what is killer. I can't really comment much more.

The Lineham Creek prospect has already encountered pay shallow of the Wilcox objective in the Yegua formation.

It is gonna be a beast and much easier to complete, regardless of its reservoir qualities at the Wilcox IMO.

And MMR is not "done". They have been bought out, along with PXP, by a huge company with more access to cash, so I would assume they are gonna pour more resources into completing(fracking) the davy jones and its companions.

Could be wrong on that last part, maybe they just call it quits after billions spent??
