No.

As it stands now, top SEC teams schedule good games outside of the conference. A 9 game SEC schedule will incentivize scheduling worse OOC teams. The less good teams the SEC plays OOC, the easier for idiots like Pat Forde to claim that the SEC is not the premier conference.

On the surface, this appears to make sense to me. Can someone retort?
Why would a 9 game SEC schedule be preferred?

NO, back at you....as a season ticket holder I want to attend more competitive games and the 9 game SEC schedule FORCES all SEC teams to do so...still leaves THREE OOC games of which I'd expect LSU to schedule a decent BCS home/home series and a couple of rent a wins. What OTHER SEC teams do with OOC is beyond anyones' control...so, I don't care !
