He has an eligibility clock that starts when he enrolled in school. To my knowledge it is 5 years to play 4.
There is no chance Chad Jones will come back to LSU.

you get 10 consecutive semesters starting the day you enroll to play 4 seasons. regardless of him going pro in football those 10 semesters have come and gone. there is absolutely no possible way for him to even gain 1 day of eligibility
