I honestly don't know enough about the different subspecies of tigers to know if it would create any problems releasing hybrid tigers into the wild.

I know the Florida Panther population decreased in such size that scientists were worried about genetic bottle necking. They brought in mountain lions from other parts of the country to aid in gene flow.

I'm not sure if various subspecies of Tigers are too specialized for their respective climates and habitats to have difficulty in the wild.
