just go to Hypertech or Superchips websites and see what models of cars they have chips for. Some vehicles it improves performance and MPG differently...diesels see the most improvement.
My 08 z71 1500 gas burner has a superchip in it that I installed after putting larger mudgrips on (went from stock tires to 285s with a leveling kit). The bigger tires brought my hwy mileage down to 13-14 from 18-21. The programmer brought it back to the original mileage before the bigger tires so it was worth it.

I know that you didn't make this claim but these are no longer the leaders in gas or diesel engines. H&S, SCT, and Diablo (I think) are the industry leaders. There are some others too but the ones that used to be top dog are no longer.
