Is this truly a "public" oxbow?
i.e. could anyone navigate into this oxbow off of the river in a normal boat?
Is this is one of those cases where you have to either:
A. Trespass onto a strip of dry private property to launch your yack into the oxbow.
B. Have permission to traverse over a piece of private property to launch your yak into the oxbow..
In these cases i could see where the pier owner could get his russles jimmied up. He has private property built onto a semi private oxbow. He feels as though it isnt as public as fishing docks on bisteneau.
Either way he doesnt have a leg to stand on, but I know that it changes my opinion (slightly) of the guy if this is the case.
