The post that you responded to was a clear indication of hindsight. I was pointing that out.
However, your criticism of Mainieri for starting McCune is another example. It ignores the big picture, Glenn's past struggles, and focuses only on the outcome.

Had Glenn struggled the outing before sure, but he didnt. He basically got demoted for giving up 1 earned run in what was it 7 or so innings. i dont remember the inning count honestly.
