At least get more experience or research a view contrary to what you've been studying before being a smartass.

I've already lived with one societal equal to the printing press and I'll likely live through a few more.
The ridiculous amount of assumptions in this statement is why you shouldn't be a smartass.

No Wiki, we got bills and shite. Maybe you can spend all day in the World of Warcraft increasing you experience points for your night elf mohawk and pillaging for digital gold, but most of us don't have time.

Where do you get that I was saying this?
You said that it wasn't a technology. If you want to be rhetoric specific then yes, it wasn't "A" technology it was a multitude of them. But switching from rhetoric back to actual substance, you know you were wrong with your statement saying it wasn't a technology and if you don't you should go back and study it.

I actually will watch it later, I love learning about new things.

I actually figured you would, but I doubt Broke, Russian or Vols will.
BTW, I'll reply to your long post soon hopefully.

Understand, there's a lot in there that I'm sure you're in total agreement with.

I can't. I'm prepping for class

Not yet. I watched the one you posted a few days ago about cryptography in general. It was pretty good. Most of the Khan videos I had seen before that were just the written chalk board/video capture variety but the production value in the cryptography one was excellent. I'll check this one out later.

You should offer your class extra credit if they write a 1 to 2 page report on bitcoin so that you can learn about it.

Man that makes me happy to hear.
It actually was a great series of videos, and was very well put together. Not only that, but it was interesting...especially the history part.

I know that Jeff Berwick and the BitcoinATM people had a falling out, but here is the initial working model in SD.

You somehow think we are hestitant to watch or learn anything. Hell I'm sure ALL of us have spent a lifetime learning new things. It's why we have all of the knowledge that we currently have.

BTW, did you feel that gave you a better understanding of bitcoin in general or do you still have questions about the cryptographic nature of it?

FWIW, I was posting because I assumed most of you would take at least some time out to watch it.

Matter of fact I need to tell you this story. I told the class what bitcoin was and we discussed it for about 20 minutes. One guy raises his hand and says "Sounds stupid to me. Why not just use dollars?". I shite you not.

sounds about right.
buddy of mine told some people about it the other day and they just started laughing out loud.

So you thought we would stop what we're doing and watch over an hour's worth of propaganda videos just because you think the videos are worthwhile?
You take yourself and what you post wayyyyyyyy too seriously.

I was dying on the inside. My mind said "Wiki would love this".
