Davinci Code, Angels & Demons. If you'd rather go the govt conspiracy route than the religious conspiracy route, Digital Fortress is an option.
I don't like his books at all, but from the two that I have read, they are definitely "fast paced" quick reads. He uses decent cliffhangers. Even a slow reader should get through one of his books in a few days at most.

I've seen the Davinci code movies though, wish I hadn't but now I know the story. Don't want to read left behind series, plus it's 12 books...
