Yeah, yeah, yeah... NO!
I really don't have any problem with Bobby. I've spent enough time w/ Cajuns to know that their local vernacular is not necessarily indicative of intelligence level. When Bobby first started doing the pregame for the Saints, it was painful to listen to him read his "Keys to the Game" segment, but his oral reading has improved greatly over the years. I think he is truly knowledgeable about football, and that's why I listen to him. IMO, his crazy expressions and atypical speech pattern (for broadcast radio) are acceptable, and occasionally entertaining, because of who he is.
Deke, on the other hand, is a guy who should have professionally peaked in Hammond. Maybe. How he landed this gig at WWL is beyond conception. I could go on forever about his broadcast radio shortcomings, but the straw that breaks the camel's back is that he is SUCH A DICK!!!
