Hopefully. I've only seen Rosemary's Baby, so I know what Im getting into with that film. The rest I'm excited about though.

Excellent choices.
Chinatown and L.A. Confidential are an interesting pairing, btw. "Old" L.A. noir separated by a couple of decades.

Thanks. I'm starting to get into Noir a lot more.

Watch Chinatown first as it occurs earlier in the 20th Century. Then L.A. Confidential that takes place in the 50's. Chinatown moves at a much slower pace but is fascinating the entire way. Both have the required intrigue and corruption.

The Trial (1862)imdb
I would enjoy watching four of the five. Own Chinatown & L.A. Confidential. Saw The Killing for the first time recently and enjoyed it. The Trial sounds really good.
I saw Rosemary's Baby at a really young age. It still scares the Hell out of me. It kind of started the realistic horror movies of the 70's that resulted in Catholic priests sermonizing them and people to have heart attacks in theaters. No thanks!

W.T.F.?
Okay, in deconstructing your sentence I have to ask, do you mean the Catholic priests caused people to have heart attacks? I mean . . . I wouldn't dispute your claim but just calling for clarification.
