Built forts all the time growing up. Used to go to my friends houses where we would spend all morning and afternoon building our fort, and setting booby traps. Once we were ready, we would lure the older brothers into the woulds and spring our traps on them.........but we eventually always got caught and got our asses beat. Ahhhh good times!!!!

on the land where I'll build my house we have two trees where the pond will be. My wife wanted to cut them down and I said nope, will be a perfect tree house set of trees. We'll have an island now.

When i stayed at my cousins house as a kid we would rig his sisters door with booby traps. They scared the shite out of her when she opened that door. That happened hundreds of times.
We used those "firecrackers" that you pulled the strings and it would just go "bang".
One time we fashioned a trip wire and taped together a bunch of D cell batteries that would crash on her head when she opened the door and tripped the wire.............his mom opened the door the next morning and got smashed by the batteries.
