stradic 3000 help needed

my stradic is winding the line on to the spool with a bias toward the rear. according to the instructions, washers can be added/removed/adjusted to manipulate the line bias as the owner chooses. i removed the spool and did not see any washers to adjust. questions:
1 - am i looking in the right place for the washers to adjust
2 - i had it worked on last year and it has performed great except for the line bias. could the repair shop have forgotten to reinstall the washers?
tia, i'll hang up and listen except to answer any questions/clarifications

Sounds like they might have forgotten something.

Maybe you have to add a washer first to have on to adjust?

Just took the spool off my Stratic 4000 and have no washers. Did one come with the reel, like in the box? It's been so Long since I bought mine I don't have any of the stuff that went with it.

i have neither added or taken away any washers. i used to load the line evenly now its not. same line also.

This sounds goofy, but does the spool move up and down evenly like it is supposed to, and does it even move up and down?

Bring it to Superior Bait and Tackle and get their opinion. They're Shimano pros
