So I showed my friend Its a Mad Mad mad world , Dumb and Dumber and he loved them. So now Im going on to other genres.

slumdog millionare , bicycle thief, and trishna are good
for stoner films, check out pineapple express, superbad

for a Western novice. Big Country, Wild Bunch, Once Upon A Time In the West, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, and Unforgiven are all better than GBatU

I like the categories Carson put forth, although I'm going to exclude Sci-Fi and Fanstasy, because I don't generally watch those particular genres. I'll add historical drama to the categories as well.

Action: The Bourne Series
Drama: The Shawshank Redemption
Horror: The Silence of the Lambs
Comedy: The Naked Gun, Caddyshack, or Anchorman
Dark Comedy: American Pyscho
Animated: The Lion King
Western: True Grit or The Outlaw Josey Wales
Crime: Goodfellas
War: The Dirty Dozen
Historical: Gladiator
