I think manipulation of outcomes should be the focus. Sure the temptation is there, but if it can't be shown that he changed outcomes, I think that mitigates to a degree.

It's the staunch old guard that cares about these things. If it were up to me, I'd put Bonds in the HOF as well with an asterisk. Rose's accomplishments on the field speak for themselves- he deserves to get in.

It's like writing off anything positive Clinton did in office because he was impeached. No, there were good things and still, that doesn't affect the body of work. It's just noted.
