Who said Brumfield is too short for guard? That's just stupid! Trai Turner ain't exactly topping the charts & he's pretty dang good. So what about Clapp? Isn't he round 6'3? Guess he's a center now also, so he & Garret have to duke it out for that lone center position
Nobody said that. Jimmy said that he is ideal for center with what Cameron likes from his linemen. Just said that he doesn't have that large of a frame and his position on the line will be determined by his growth. Trai Turner was 330 pounds when he enrolled. Brumfield was 260 at the UA combine just a few months ago. Big difference.

quote:He was NOT 260 a few months ago! At the UA Combine he weighed at 272! Whoever wrote the subsequent articles just grabbed the first height at weight they ran across in a search, which was outdated! Since the UA Combine he's at 285. I will say again, not all sources updated their info regularly. They just print the first thing they find! That applies to all recruits in all databases on all sites! Some reporters are in such a hurry to be the first one to put the story out that they search the internet and grab whatever they can find! Accurate or not!
