I don't think he disabled it... but it did show that he still had a functioning one. I don't think Sonya was aware of that.
Yeah... Redhead is working for somebody.
I liked the future-->present connection with her former partner this time. Really well done.
Alec has another suit to play with. That part about how it can draw energy from all sort of power sources to stay charged... Wonder if it can power the orb that could get her home?

I agree in the sense, that it was well done. But I'm also on the record of getting kinda tired of the constant Kiera-centric flash forwards. The Alec and Liberate ones are so much more interesting now, and really serve to fill in the mysteries and keep the intrigue.
I wonder what really happened in her death though. She was "faking it" (maybe?) then she pops dickhead with the "roll the dice with Escher" comment....3 scenes later, she's mysteriously dead....there's something there for certain, and they just glossed over it.

wonder if future self implanted yet another message in that one as well?

doubt it....if they damn near blew up a fusion reactor trying to give it power, I doubt that suit can do the trick. Plus she needs a bunch more of the magic orange slices to get there anyway.
and they just left the whole Alec tripped balls and saw crazy homeless guy with his mom scene alone this week. And where was Kellog?? I though Alec took up the pimp-cup and was riding that money train??

Keira coached her on what to say to stall him.

Thought about that, too. Seems very likely.

this last one really was more of a filler episode, yet again, another Keira "I miss my son" story..yeah, we get it
while at first I was somewhat intrigued with the virtual-Freud, it just dropped off - was hoping they'd find a really cool angle to run with it for future episodes.
as far as the mole, they've been hinting at it for so long now, I guess I'm really not surprised it was her, it fits well with the story - but I am disappointed they really didnt spend one second with a Liberate flash-forward.
I'm concerned the writers are still looking for a direction, I saw on the Canadian site they were polling the viewers to let them choose the season finale - that's usually not a good sign

This is an awful sign. Hopefully they have a better concept in mind than this!!!!!

yeah, something about "choose liberate" or "choose law and order" type thing for the ending
I guess they're shooting two separate endings

humph.......another bottle episode
I'm disappointed that halfway thru season 2 Kiera spills the beans, and that Carlos just went with it. It was a pretty soft approach to an unbelievable story. Not the best writing. He barely flinched.
So, Piron and Kellog are in an arms race? And I knew the girlfriend was a mole, that was too easy.

Everything Uncle Stu said here. Are you and I the only ones keeping up lately? It appears that way...

I guess so.
Syfy is about to start S02, yurin had better adjust the title to indicate SPOILERS

They may just need to start a syfy channel only thread.
We can just start a canadian version for the rest of us.

Finally caught up on this season this past weekend (with the exception of this weekends that I'm going to watch tonight). Enjoying it a good bit so far, liked the bringing her former partner into it and how they have the dual Liberate factions going on. Nice to see her breaking down her stoic manner a bit this season.

I've definitely been keeping up... It's just that I find myself working on Sundays lately. My off days are Tuesday/Wednesday so I do all my TV catch-up then. Will be watching the most recent episode sometime tonight. Earlier rather than later if the Rangers game continues to suck.

Episode 7 was really good - it hit all the points I think we all want to see. I was hesitant about letting Carlos in on the gig, but I think they did a good job with it. But we got some good flash-forwards that I think was good, only if it served to confuse me even more.
Although it is becoming increasingly more and more difficult to keep track of all the spying, backstabbing and who is aligned with who. There are at least 6, if not 7 or 8 various "factions" at work here, it's actually making the show a little difficult to follow.
Kiera & the cops
Gardner & the feds
Freelancers
Mr Escher & his gang
Kellog & his agenda
Future Alec
Liber8 (A-team)
Liber8 (B-team)
BSG dude running for mayor & his political posse
obviously, we knew redhead girlfriend was a mole, and now we know who for. And it looks more and more based on her arse-kicking skills, she's a potential super-soldier from the future. But then, who was that whose arse she kicked? Another gang we have to track??
Did anyone get the very distinct sense that Alec's mom is waaaaaaaaaaaay more into all of this than we thought? Did you see that glance she gave the girlfriend in the courthouse hallway? Something is up. And then the cryptic talk about his father.
Most confusing was the scene were future Theseus got a stay of execution, apparently at the direction of his own brother and it appeared unwanted.
this is LOST all over again - I'm going to have to wait till the end of the season, and re-watch all over again, just to put the pieces back together again and connect the dots.

Yeah, they are getting a little overboard with the various factions.

Agreed, really digging this season. Interesting to see Alec's GF/Mole kicking the random intruder's arse.
I am kinda curious about Alec's dad, as there have been the subtle hints about his dad being a genius throughout the series.

Don't forget the magic visine trip where Alec's dad may be crazy Jason(?) Jacob(?)

True, forgot about that little bit.

Episode 8 was VERY interesting, quite a bit happened. Still trying to figure out future Alec, he's a strange cat.
I'm very curious as to where they go from here for the rest of this season.

Kind of all over the place, but pretty well organized chaos. The flashbacks to Kiera's past get a little old at times, but most seem relevant in one way or another. They really have jumped around a lot and have introduced some new characters lately. All the bad guys and factions seem to be after one another in an endless circle. For some reason, "Second" is in the title of every episode this season.
If you liked the first season, this is definitely along the same lines.
