I think it's a lot more likely he wants to return for another year of college life than being afraid of going to a bad team. Intangibles and leadership are supposed to be his strength, he's probably not afraid of Orlando or Charlotte.

I wouldn't think it's so much him being afraid, it's jsut the more logical decision. Sure, he can get drafted high and go to a shitty team. You think he's going to get a ton more development with the Kings than he would still at OKST, where they are trying to maintain a very good tournament team? That's debatable.

That's my thoughts as well. If so, good for him eventhough it's a bad move professionally. Just IMO though.
