Bad genetics was my only concern. I would rather him be better next year and another hunter get him than me getting him like that.

I looked at him through my scope for about 10 minutes. He was within 50 yards. I said that it was a vertical antler, which leads me to believe it wasn't broken. No set of optics could have told me that this was due to genetics or an injury.

He's got one side with six or seven on it and the other side is likely broken off. And you guys think that's a cull? What's the defect? He fights too much?
I'd let him walk and see what he looked like next year.
