Top 10 restaurants in Baton Rouge

Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, and regardless of the type of service or no service they offer, price, genre, as well as drinks or no drinks, etc. Just the food.
Give me your TOP 10 list
Voting criteria should include the following:
Consistency - Odds are, no matter what you order there it's going to be very good rather than "they are famous for their _____."
Thought - It is put into their food regardless if its an ap, an entree, a desert or a salad.
Execution - they more often than not can hit around or nail the mark which you think is commonly seen as proper execution by a serious foodie or someone in the business critiquing the food.
Specials - they are interesting and detailed. "Somebody thought this one out type of specials."
And this is just an opinion poll. There are no wrong answers, but considering the criteria would be much appreciated as I think it should help narrow it down.

For sure
I may get reamed for this, but I am a big fan of Parrain's.

I'm glad you included AM mart. It came to mind as I was reading down the thread.
It is consistently good every single time. Never fails to impress.

I literally could have lived off of am mart and voodoo bbq's potato salad.
I lived behind am mart for 3 years, so I had very easy access. Would walk to get a flat of natty and a spicy turkey with no tomato for sub $20.

I don't see how you can honestly separate some of these factors as they are an important part of the dining experience and greatly affect how we all judge a place. Price is particularly tough. I love Chelsea's food, but wouldn't think too highly of it at Juban's prices.

Again, not sure about this criteria. Thought? Specials? I don't expect casual dining places to score high in these categories, yet casual dining places are some of my favorite restaurants.

Too many factors go into choosing a place for me to rank them in a list. My most frequented would be Chelsea's, Bistro Byronz, and IPO.
But I think Beausoliel and Ruffinos and Stroubes are "better" than those three.
I think Louisiana Langiappe puts out great seafood dishes.. And I even enjoy Parrains.
I think ethnic places like La Reyna are gems but certainly lacking in atmosphere.
It's hard for me to make one list because obviously a place like Bistro Byronz can't do what Beausoliel can because of price point.. Even though Byronz is consistently great.
My top five recommendations are:
Chelsea's
Byronz
Beausoliel
Ruffinos
Stroubes
But there are others I enjoy very much too.

I must be missing something because Mestizo was gross to me. Shredded seafood covered in cream and cheese.

Yea, I didn't even get to include good ethnic places in my ten, but there are certainly some gems.
Bayleaf (could really be top 10)
Rama
Sushi Yama
La Reyna
Albasha
Hell, if we're going on frequency, I can guarantee you I have been Albasha more than any other BR restaurant.

Stroubes
Beausoliel
Chelsea's
Bin 77
Bistro Byronz
Maison Lacour
Anthony's Italian Deli
Latte e Miele
Mansurs
Galatoire's
Honorable mention... Truly Free... If for no other reason than they make gluten free actually taste pretty damn good, and that's not easy.
