These are bogus rpi polls I'd like to see what are the elements used to determine the RPI . The SEC is clearly the strongest baseball conference yet the SEC teams all have low rpi's (excepting lsu and Vandy).
Garbage in garbage out. Arky went to Omaha last year and lost to USC e in the semi finals didn't they?

This is the 1st year of the new RPI formula that gives teams a bonus for playing on the road.
Road wins 1.3
Road losses 0.7
Home wins 0.7
Home losses 1.3
Neutral games 1.0 either way
This is an effort to give a numerical advantage to the northern schools that spend the first 2 months of their season on the road. Most of the SEC schools play their non-conference games at home, which has created a small hole for the SEC to dig out of in the RPI.
