Anyone know why the Middle Ground thread is anchored??
Posted on 4/14/13 at 4:57 pm to SpqrTiger
They come up right after the show is broadcast.

My guess is because there's been multiple help threads complaining about "too many" GoT threads on the board.

I just asked on the help board.

I commented on your topic over there .
Goes to show you how much the show popularity has gone up from season to season. I don't remember this board having 7 topics on page 1 for this show last year.
I didn't become a regular until season 2 last year (I marathoned season 1 two months before season 2 began), and damn. The topics are crazy long this year compared to last year. Also a lot more fighting/non-book readers complaining about minute details. I think a lot of people must've caught on to GoT and watched both seasons within the past few months.

I think if we had a season 3 long thread it would surpass the Crackpot Theories thread .

So I'm watching this youtube link and it has a clip of Melisandrei with Thoros and Beric. At least I think that is her at the 8:00 mark.
How the hell do these two cross paths?
Interesting.
LINKY THINGY
ETA: Just stay out the non-reader thread. Why do people feel the need to even enter. Leave them be. Except JBBama.... flame the hell out of him.

Beric has a huge wound across his throat. Guess his throat was slit before the was raised. He does not look as bad as was portrayed after several successive raisings from the dead.

As for the theory about Jeyne's betrayal of Robb.
I believe her mother was in on it with Tywin. I also believeher mother was in position to give a love potion to Robb to make him fall for Jeyne. Her two brothers and she seemd to really support Robb, despite their mom's actions. I believe they were unaware.

That's possible. I don't think Jeyne was aware of it either. I don't necessarily buy the love potion either. I think he legitimately turned to Jeyne in grief when he found out Bran and Rickon "died". I do think she would give Jeyne something to keep her from getting pregnant so when Robb went down that she would still be able to marry someone else without strings attached.

So, should I start another Middle Ground thread?
Posted on 4/14/13 at 7:45 pm to PsychTiger
If it isn't fixed, and you don't think you'll get in trouble over it. I for one think it is necessary. I really hope no one posts in the non-readers thread tonight.

im avoiding it, fricker spoiled the masters for me

No idea if I'll get in trouble. Of course, given the way the nonreaders have talked to me this week, I don't know if I'm inclined to help them out anymore.
I'll hold off on starting one for now but may reconsider if things get too out of hand in their thread.

Let's agree to not go crackpot in this thread so those who have read some but not all of the books can feel safe posting in here.
We know the nonreaders won't be welcoming to them.
