So I went back to where I played it from, but I went two yards further back and I took, tried to take two yards off the shot of what I felt I hit.

By his own admission, Woods violated the "as near as possible" portion of dropping at the original spot where the ball was hit. With knowledge of the violation of the rule, Woods could have been disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard.

Instead, he was not.
