If a Bama alumni is in charge it is biased, no doubt about it.

There can be no valid argument against his point. It's a one off schedule and is ridiculously easy for Bama and tough for LSU. It's nothing new.

The people that want everyone to shut up about this HATE the fact that ESPN made a writeup about it bc it validates what many just want to sweep under the rug.
And all the people that want this talked about HATE the fact that ESPN made a write up because ESPN is supposed to hate LSU. But if they really hate LSU and love BAMA the way all these people insist they wouldn't bring this up. They would continue to promote BAMA having an easy schedule.
Long story short, everyone hates everyone.

Pretty easy to bring up AFTER THE FACT.
Funny, in 2011 when ESPN was promoting the Mulligan, did you see them mention the fact that Bama only beat three FBS teams with a regular season record better than 6-6? Not to mention one of those three was 7-5.
Nope. Kept that hidden to promote the agenda.
Now after being literally handed back to back titles bc of Mulligans and rigged schedules, they want to see what is "fair"?
frick ESPN.

Should've posted on the SEC rant. Would've gotten 30 pages

Has anybody suggested this?
Move Auburn and Alabama to the East
Move Missouri and Vanderbilt to the West
That way, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee will be happy, and the division is still relatively geographically relevant.
Then we could see the hypocrisy when Alabama says no because it wouldn't be fair that they have to play Florida every year now.

it's on the SECr, at 2 pages

Well, in ESPN's defense on this, they are just reporting. Doesn't really matter how biased their reporting is sometimes, that's their job. They don't have a hand on scheduling at all.
That being said, it's all retroactive reporting, so you kinda say whatever after the fact.
Gotta go to the stem of the problem, the actual schedulers themselves. Once we fix that, reporters will report however they want.
ETA: Unless you see that there is collusion between ESPN and SEC, but you can say that about just about any type of agreement between parties. IMO

I would just rather our fanbase not look like whiny bitches.
I would rather you and everyone like you not look like a bunch of stupid pussies because you prefer to hold you butt cheeks open so an Alabama Alum can have his way with you.
I would rather the SEC divide the SEC into a East and West division that has teams in the East play in the East and Team in the West play in the West.
[edit clarification=if you are in the west geographically you should be in the western division or stop calling it east and west]
I would rather the schedules simply rotated so that every team gets the same eastern schedule over time and vice versa. A level playing field.
Why requesting a level playing whining. Aren't the rules suppose to be unbiased. Aren't the visiting team required the same equipment and amenities?
If your team has heaters on the sideline the visiting team has to have them as well. If your teams head sets break. The other team has to turn theirs off. Why? To make it a level playing field.
Having dedicate out of division opponents mean it is IMPOSSIBLE to have a level playing field. It doesn't matter if it is LSU getting screwed or not. If LSU isn't the one getting screwed then that means some other team is and that is wrong.
If it is awesome to play Florida every year then you are screwing Texas A&M because they now only get to play them half as much.
Just make it fair. It isn't hard and you don't need non alabama alumni to make it fair. Just do what is right.

Does it seem unbalanced? Sure
Do I personally care? No
Play what you dealt, knowing its tougher for LSU just makes it more gratifying when they win out.

Designating certain SEC east teams for Alabama to play every year and LSU to play every year is idiotic. Alabam should be playin Florida this season not LSU again.

IMO, the Baseball "Bridge" is just as alarming:
Bama's East Opponents: Bottom half of the SEC in 2012
LSU's East Opponents: Top half of the SEC East in 2012
Bama's East Opponents: Bottom half of the SEC in 2012
LSU's East Opponents: Top half of the SEC East in 2012

Yes, you’re supposed to play the schedule you’re dealt. But if you’re looking at it from the LSU perspective, you can’t help but wonder if somebody’s doing some dealing from the bottom of the deck.
basically calling the SEC schedule makers cheaters. something we've all known for a long time. it sucks that a conference which earns so much cred on the field can be so biased and corrupt at the league office.
thank you Chris Low.
get better...get even.

This needs to be said! The SEC West schedule for Eastern Division opponents is favorable to Alabama and unfavorable to LSU... and it has been that way for years.

if we dont choke against alabama last year, we likely win the national championship.
In all fairness this a bit of an arrogant attitude that over looks how inconsistent LSU was last year.
They still would have had to have won the SEC, and then you have to play for the national championship.
Had LSU pulled off the upset against Bama, I wouldn't automatically assume they then win it all. Just look at the Auburn and Towson games. That team simply did not have the same fire as 2011.
Perhaps beating Bama would have allowed them to regain their swagger, but team was far short of being great last year.

And if we play Mizzou instead of Florida, we are 11-1 and in the Sugar Bowl.
