okay.

I'm sorry I went too far in my response to you.

People do tend on this site to place women at a higher position.

Your picture was on Br2.
I wasn't being facetious. I do need to tone it down though.

I hate spoilers, but I like talking about the show. The other thread gets away from that.
I wasn't trying to be a dick when I said people shouldn't ask questions. I get it's "your" (royal use referring to non readers) but people ask questions that to answer would be a spoiler.

Hopefully the next threads have less problems.

As Belle pointed out my response to you was a little much. I do apologize. I thought this site still autocorrected that word. I was more being silly and shocking than mean.

In this thread I didn't mean ill. I enjoy cocomoLSU's posts, but I see him and partially you as the ones quick to jump on people who post possible spoilers. That is all I meant by that post. I wasn't trying to insult you.

I was sincere when I said in a thread that you won't read that I feel I was too harsh.

It is what it is though. It's an open forum and I don't backchannel that much so there is no talking trash that can't be seen .

I guess I'll make one serious post, I will be making a "middle ground"/questions thread this Sunday where both book readers and nonreaders may post if they wish. I will encourage readers to answer any questions briefly without going into extraneous details and hope for no speculation beyond what is on the show. of course, there is no guarantee a mild spoiler won't be posted. I will RA anything more serious than a mild spoiler.

If you are a nonreader and don't want to take that risk then avoid the thread. I am okay with the nonreader thread being a show watchers only thread if they wish. I will stay out of it, but can't speak for anyone else.

Hopefully this will allow those that have read some but not all of the books to have a place to discuss the show as well as those who want to discuss the show without any speculation such as that in the crackpot thread. If you want to speculate and talk in a completely free manner about the books, I'm sure there will be a book readers thread.

This may help or it may be a complete failure, but at least I'm trying something. Valar Morghulis!
