BULL.shite.

I grew up in N. GA near Chattanooga and baseball is very much alive there. If you're counting between Rome and ATL as N. GA, then you'd be dead wrong there too. GA is one of the states that is a hotbed for baseball talent and competition.

No it's not. North Georgia is supporting an MLB franchise and two of its minor league affiliates. Also one of the best showcases for young talent in the country over at East Cobb. Baseball is second only to football here.

Well if we're basing mlb success on braves fans attendence then we might as well just say the season starts in august.
