They can play music b/t batters. The rule is they can't play anything once the batter has entered the dirt circle according to Jim Hawthorne, not the batters box, the circle. And b/c the on deck guy walks in so quickly they just hardly ever get to in b/t batters. Is suppose to speed the game up.

Why does it seem like every time they screw with the rules......the bats, the music.....it makes for a less enjoyable fan experience?
Seriously, how much fricking time does playing walk up music add? And if someone is going to make it out to the ball park, they probably don't give a rats arse that the game is 2:50, rather than 2:40.
