They should have reported what evidence they had, procurred what Rutgers AD was very open about and reported what the university was doing in repsonse ie suspension and fine.

Based off of what physical evidence? What I seriously do not know and want to know is when did the video surface?

This is from USA today on Dec 13 after Rutgers had done an investigation and rendered a decision. ESPN at that moment should have investigated it and within a few weeks rendered their reporting on it.

Not here in April 4 months later. Thats the whole point.

do some research before you accuse

from Dec. 14

quote:

And yesterday Rutgers University coach Mike Rice was suspended for three games, fined $50,000 and banned from any contact with the program for foul language and inappropriate behavior, which included throwing basketballs at players’ heads during practice.

Where were all of you sympathizers then??????

Exactly. No one gave Rutgers shite then. It clearly said he threw balls at players' heads. Why do you need a video to substantiate that?

quote:

The problems for Rice may be just beginning, however, as former NBA star Eric Murdock, RU’s director of player development until he was fired last summer, promised to release tapes of Rice mistreating players if not compensated by the university.

Not sure why you can't comprehend this...

Murdick said made it clear he was going to tear Rutgers down if they didn't pay him.

Naturally ESPN runs with the story. Some credible source, huh? One who threatens to destroy a school because his selfish personality isn't getting money for a something he did to himself
