I would say raping the universities endowments for hundreds of millions, throwing the perps in prison and firing everyone up the food chain that even knew about it (and ruining their reps and careers) is pretty fricking strong. They took the maximum of the criminal and civil. Leave the football players alone.

It was not just recruiting violations...it was a deliberate cover-up a crime by the leadership of the institution--it has nothing to do with what the fans deserve or do not deserve. Additionally, the "we are the only institution to never be on probation" was a recruiting tool of PSU, which perpetuated the cover-up at the top.

You punish the school for the guilt of those who govern the school.
PSU was guilty of allowing a sick frick free access to their grounds and the young males who visited those grounds long after some who governed the school were aware sick crap was going on.
PSU should drop to its knees in thanks for even being allowed to still have a football program.
As should LSU fans for ME vision and guidance.
