Either way check out the parents if they are on site. Make sure they have good health and good genes. Find one that is not too alpha, but not the little bitch that cowards down when you roll it around. Bring a ball and roll it in front of the pack and see which ones are interested.
Make sure they are registered and have legit paperwork.
Eta- these are suggestions. Without knowing the parents gene pool and awards/prizes they won, it is kind of a crap shoot. I have always just known which one was mine. Weird, but true.
