I remember reading the Soccer Board started off as a World Cup Board when it would takeover the MSB and then they made it permanent
No sport should get a board if it goes completely dead during a part of the year (which baseball has been for the past couple months). This is just opening day overreaction

Baseball, basketball, and football once the season is over and offseason big names are acquired you only get the occasional story up until Spring Training/Preseason camps start....
