I'm so used to free cam that I can't play with fixed cam. You can't get nearly as good of a view of what's around you with it. Hell, Lux's Q and R ranges are further than the camera can see. I can't do it.

For people trolling with dota2 > LoL bullshite, I played dota 2 for a few weeks and went straight back to LoL. LoL is the champion Moba for a reason. For starters, it's free. It's simpler than HoN and other mobas, but still challenging to master. Easy to pick up, easy to learn, hard to put down, hard to master. IMO, LoL is the best moba out.

eta

I'm at work but I'll be getting on shortly for a game or two.

Its time is coming to an end. DOTA 2 already has a massive player base for a game that isn't released, and the pro matches already get significantly more viewers than LOL matches. Valve >>>> whatever mediocre company does LOL also. Their interface and secondary market is fantastic, and is allowing people to make careers off of DOTA related content. They're going to win this war. Book. It. LOL fanboys.

Dota 2 is free.

And less punishing. Dota 2 is far more challenging, and thus more rewarding when, for example, you land a kill.

Maxing out on items is also a frequent occurrence in LoL.
