Trey Burke is the best player in America hands down, but the best draft prospect is a different story. All depends on what direction the Pelicans wanna go really which we will know soon enough after draft day. Draft either Shabazz or Porter and set your corr. Draft possibly Noel if there are no recovery issues and create a dominant frontcourt of the future. Draft Burke and trade Rivers to the Celtics who will overpay but retain GV.

Hopefully the Pelicans stat clear of Zeller, Len, Oladipo, or Smart. I really do like Carter-Williams but do not know how much more he brings than GV both are similar.

I like MCW a lot too. I've been reading a lot of articles about him and people compare him to a Rondo, but he's 6'5-6'6 with a 6'9 wingspan. Freak. Like Rondo, he might not average 20 points but he will make his impact in assist and rebounds. Sure, he has work to do in his jumper. But that's what most young players struggle with anyways. Being an efficient scorer. He's a smart, pass 1st PG with elite height for the position and with his size and athleticism should excel on the defensive end. As far as him and GV being similar, I think MCW has a way higher ceiling. I think MCW has a higher ceiling than a lot of players in the draft.

Should we take him? No clue. I feel that we have bigger needs at the 3 and 5 than we do at PG. while some people don't want Porter after seeing him play in 1 game, I still think he would be the best fit for us.
