But yeah, those features aren’t luxuries now. That’s a $130 b550 board, but you can probably find most of them on something cheaper. But I’ve experienced first hand how useful those features are. My first build? Managed to not fully plug in the second 8pin on my gpu. But the first was plugged in, so the RGB still came on. Without debug, I would have spent the better part of a day trying to troubleshoot that idiocy. And half the DIY community figured out how useful bios flash was when Zen 3 came out, which required a bios update that you could otherwise only do if you already had a Zen 2 processor installed. And clear cmos is more advanced, but I think it’s useful for anyone who so much as wants to flirt with ram timings, because who wants to stick a flathead into their case

$30 or so for all that peace of mind? Easy choice for me.
