Yes that is what I told you a few years back where AMD was going (shoulda bought stock then too).

I didn't trust the players. We just went through the same promises from them 4-6yrs prior with Bulldozer and no ideas on their next ARCH on the graphics side.

I'm still "concerned" about the graphics business at AMD. Concerned might be the wrong term here, they just won't have an open field with nVidia like they had with Intel.

The CPU business we knew would come around and be "competitive". I don't think anyone thought it would be like this, with AMD on the brink of domination.

But who would have predicted Intel to literally stop innovation on their process tech after Sandy Bridge? Then once they decide to start progressing again, Intel fumbles not only their new process tech, but the new manufacturing tech! So now you aren't set back 2yrs, but 4yrs.

What a fckking diaster by Intel.

What a performance by AMD.

When I first got into PC gaming in 99, Intel had gotten lazy and AMD's original Athlon caught them off guard. And now we've come full circle again.
Just hope Intel doesn't go the way of 3dfx.

Intel also had their own video card back then (i740) and now they're itching to get back in that market.
