I have my router in the living room for my new house but all my stuff is in my basement. I have a cable running from the living room router to my basement so I can hardline everything but I have about 5 devices. Any recommendations for a switch or something?

Get a cheap TP-Link switch off Amazon.
8port should run about $30-40bucks.
