ferk. Replaced my motherboard and the damn wired LAN connection doesn't work. Wifi for the foreseeable future, but at least I got 5GHz so it's manageable.
Still, pisses me off. Don't feel like taking it all apart, packing it back up & shipping it off just because of one port.

uninstalled and reinstalled drivers for the controller?
also a few things which might help. Flash latest BIOS version and use a different cable.
