This. I pushed back against KBM as much as I could, but since it was the only option I had I learned out of necessity. After a couple weeks, it's sooooo much better than a controller. It's foreign at first using two peripherals at once (at least it was to me) but once I got the hang of it I love it. I can still use controller, but at this point I prefer KBM. I'm still not GREAT with it, but I'm competent enough to play the games I play (BL2 and some single player stuff). I'm sure I'd get wrecked on a FPS with it still, but I haven't played any since getting a pc
Oh, and fwiw, I don't have anything special. 10 yr old kbm that came with my pc in 04

But once you get a mechanical keyboard, you'll never be able to go back to a rubber dome again
