Thinking about cleaning up the thermal paste and reapplying on my laptop when I put an ssd in since odds are they did a bad job. How hard is it to clean up?

I would purchase this before doing so. This stuff makes the job go much easier and a lot cleaner.

Or you can use 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and save yourself $15. You're reapplying in a laptop not a $600 CPU that is over locked to all hell.
