I'm a product developer in addition to being an enthusiast. I need to support all of these platforms and it's cheaper to upgrade my gaming machine than get a separate VMWare box, and with the improved power efficiency of Haswell, it was a no brainer.

Ah, that makes sense. Nevermind the on the 32GB of RAM then. I'm too used to dealing with people here trying to build primarily gaming PCs and throwing money at the wrong hardware. What kind of stuff do you develop?
