One problem I had with the case I have now is it cannot hold the large video cards (gaming GeForce cards, etc.). There is a lot of open space in my case but the last time I tried adding a high performance video card, it didn't fit and I had to go back to a normal sized card. The video card I have in it now is a ATI Radeon HD 4670.

There are tons of options for cases. The Fractal Design R4 is a great mid sized case and IMO in the best $100 case built. A while ago it could be had for under $80. It will handle the bigger video cards. Mine has 2 X 6950 in it right now with plenty of room to spare.
