might just be a failsafe.

you unplug it entirely from the wall?

flip the switch from 110 to 220 back to 110?

hold the power button down to clear any charge

replug the psu back up to the wall and try it?

and then theres the Paperclip trick.

I have to do the above anytime I lose power when my computer is on fwiw

I tried everything already except jumping it. I am going to get my voltage tester out tomorrow and figure it out. If it wouldn't have been for me smelling electrical burn I would be a little more puzzled but I am fairly certain it's fried. Just weird that nothing else on that surge protector got messed up. My monitors and laptop are all good.
