Eventually, you'll either reach clock instability or temperature induced clock sagging. If you hit the former first, then you know your card's limits. If you hit the latter first, you can play with an "undervolt" from there and see how far it will take you.

Sounds good. I'll do some more reading/watching about this stuff so I can try to understand it better.
