Edu is easily our worst central midfielder when it comes to keeping possession. Beckerman has the passing accumen, but I'm not sure he's fast enough to play that role against higher quality international teams.

Restrict Edu to more of a defensive role (such as when he was a CB) and he'd do just fine with simple possession passes.
Beckerman is too slow? Bradley isn't much faster if at all...
